I have no idea why destroying Paris is so central to their plans. We should figure that out soon, though, to make sure this never comes to be.

Paris totally makes sense.
For trivia of the day, the French government carried out nuclear testing in the South Pacific including atmospheric tests in Muraroa between 1966 and 1974. Would they do it in Paris? No. But the monkeys would! ;)
