You're confusing Sam Elliott with Sam Neill, which makes the drawing much, much funnier.
obviously a Roadhouse theme is what the requestor was looking for.
i think that unicorn looks just right. the magical rainbow is clearly the masterstroke, but the unicorn is really not bad at all.

Sam Elliot played Swayze's bouncer friend that dies in "Roadhouse," Virgil Earp in "Tombstone," and the cowboy drinking sasparilla at the bowling alley in "The Big Lebowski." If the movie contains awesome facial hair, he's probably in it.
