"'Go Texan' day as celebrated by a New York law firm"
Being from Texas myself, I am incredibly upset at all of this, especially how wrong they got our flag.
Incidentally, I've noticed everyone from Texas (myself included) is intensely proud of being from Texas, even if they hate actually living in Texas. It's awesome and bizarre.

Interesting thought... I was born on Galveston Island and until last year was never proud at all of that fact (though being from the USA at all has never been a huge point of pride for me either), but just a few months ago I started feeling something resembling pride, if only in the perverted sense that I'm from Texas and I'm not a hillbilly, have traveled widely, and know how to spell a word like onomatopoeia. Cats like you, Joe Mathlete, make me believe there's hope for everyone on Earth, but specifically for some of those wanker Texans who figure the Alamo should replace D.C. as the nation's capital.
I am officially a Texan in June because it will be the 10th year I have lived in the state (they say you aren't official til you hit 10 years if you weren't born here), but I do feel a bit proud to live here.
I have lived in all four major cities, so I have made my rounds in the great state, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
I love being FROM Texas, but I will never live there again.
At least I don't think so.
Oh, and also, I like how that one guy kinda looks Jewish.
My truck is from Texas, but I've never been off the east coast.
